Light Rail comes to Phoenix

We decided to give the new light rail a ride. It didn't last too long. I think we were on the train standing still longer than when the train was moving. We rode a very packed train one stop before getting off.

We then walked back to our car and drove to Tempe to see Roger Clyne & the Peacemakers. Along our walk back, we ran into this snow -- in Phoenix!

Here are some pictures from the show in Tempe.
He wanted tequila, but got whiskey.

The show was followed up by fireworks.

Poinsettia

Following tradition, we went to Gardener's World for a poinsettia. I had planned on taking pictures of the many poinsettias on display there, but my camera battery was dead.

So here is a picture of the one I bought.

Merry Christmas.

It is during the first two days of November that the departed are remembered. Here are two remembrance alters I created for my Grandparents.

San Diego Beach Pictures

Here's some pictures from the weekend we spent in San Diego with friends. There has been an ongoing golfing contest, girls against the boys. The girls lost and had to cook breakfast.

Here's Justin and Kyle posing for the camera. Can you guess who's behind the camera lens?

We played volleyball, softball and of course there was surfing.
