We also visited the Route 66 Museum in Clinton, OK, where we ran into the Norwegian Bike Club that was at the Big Texan, the night before. There must have been 25 bikes.
The museum followed the decades, as Route 66 was built and then decommissioned. I found this post card dated August 18th, 1928(the same day of our visit, but 80 years earlier) of a bridge somewhere between Kingman, AZ and Needles, CA.
